07/06/05: Drop-dead gorgeous

M: For some reason, which mostly seems to have to do with me drinking every evening, I barely find the time to draw. As replacement for the regular
strip, I'm posting something that originally was only meant to tick off a colleague of mine. Oh well. It's certainly not worse than what I had in store
for you before. I don't know what it is, but something is holding me back these days. Maybe it's the heat, maybe stress at work, maybe it's the lack
of any spare time. Guess I'll have to go on vacation to find out.

On another note, everyone (including me) seems to like the new Batman movie. But, really - aren't the fight scenes horrid? I mean, 20 or 30 seconds
of blurry, half-second close-ups, and then everybody (except the hero, of course) is dead or rather "unconscious"? It didn't work in Lord of the Rings,
and it doesn't work here. Why wouldn't anyone learn from Matrix or even Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon?
